About four hours. We leave Almaty at 06:00 and reach Charyn Canyon around 10:00, with a comfortable vehicle and stops along the way.
Can I see Charyn Canyon and Kolsai Lakes in one day?
Yes. The one-day format covers Charyn Canyon, Moon Canyon, Kaindy Lake and Kolsai Lake, returning to Almaty around 22:00. The two-day format spreads the same sights over two days with a night in a cosy guest house.
Is this a group tour or a private one?

How do I reach Kaindy Lake?
The last stretch of road is unpaved, so at the parking area we transfer to a UAZ off-road vehicle for the ride up to the lake and back. That ride is arranged for you.
